122 DAYS OF SUMMER

With the excitement of completing my first year of university, I realised it’s been a minute since I posted anything that wasn’t portfolio based. I finished my uni just over 2 weeks ago and as you can imagine, my weeks have been filled with catching up with friends and making regular visits to the Townhouse.

On my first weekend off, I celebrated completing my final exam with 4 pornstar martini’s and a few glasses of bubbles (how else would I be celebrating really?) But on the Saturday is when the fun really started. Me and one of my closest friends, Olivia, found ourselves on a train to Peterborough to watch Craig David perform at the football stadium. We spent the whole day drinking and dancing with strangers to some great music.

The last train home was way too early, but in true fashion, we didn’t let our night end there. Obviously, we hoped off the train and headed straight for the Herewood, and then ended up in the Townhouse with some of our bestest friends. The perfect way to finish up a fairly stressful few weeks was to be dancing my night away with Katie and Grace.
After that weekend, life consisted of family dinners at my mums, the pub quiz on a Wednesday night and working. Things got a bit more exciting when Em and I had a girly day in Cambridge which consisted of shopping and lunch. What more could I want really? Catching up whilst rummaging through sale racks really is the best way to bond.

Then once again I spent another Saturday night dancing away on that dirty sticky townhouse floor whilst boogying to spice girls’ classics. Me and some of my closest friends from school got together for a classic Ely night out.

Now I’m settled to my new reality for the next 15 weeks, I’ll be mixing my life up completely. Dividing my time between two houses, my job and my families. There is only 30 days until I’m jetting off to America for the sun, the sea and a huge family gathering. I also have a handful of events planned with Ruth to keep counting down too as well. All I need now is the weather to warm up, and I’ll be on track for the perfect summer.
