A Cambridgeshire girl, staring a new chapter, in an Essex world.
Today I started at The University of Essex, to study Journalism. I came fully prepared for my first day, however I had absolutely no idea where I was going. That's the issue with going to a university that you've only ever seen once, it can become complicated when you have the memory of a goldfish. Thank goodness for the pocket app, and the helpers for putting up with my panicked expression as I struggled to find yet another room.
Without living on campus, I assumed I would struggle to meet new people, but I was extremely wrong...

In my tutor introduction I met the loveliest girl through a simple conversation, and from there our friendship sparked. We both mingled with the others in the group, including a brunette girl who was planning on ditching the treasure hunt because it was her Birthday. She had other ways to celebrate, which included much more alcohol, and much less exploring. They both are now two girls, that I speak to on the daily.
Fresher's
After meeting the girls in the induction, one of the them in particular took me under her wing, and introduced me to a handful of new people. Little did I know that 10 hours later. I'd be singing my heart out to the 'Climb' by Miley Cyrus and nearly getting kicked out of Spoons with them. Not living on campus then created the problem of finding somewhere to stay, thankfully one of the girls I met offered for me to stay, and I did. And I had one of the best nights of my live.
